Golbez Learns to Draw

Constructed By: Mattie Schraeder

This is my first proper villain deck in my collection. Golbez, Crystal Collector largely does what he says on the tin. Collect as many artifacts as you can, while abusing the graveyard as much as possible. He might not be as mean as my Dr. Eggman Commander deck, but he’s still extremely fun.

Relm’s Sketching is also one of my more expensive to cast Limit Breaks, but the value of copying not only your own artifacts to summon more Heroes to do your bidding, but your opponents’ as well. Having already removed a bunch of ramp from the Revival Trance Commander deck for my Terra’s Revival Trance But Smaller deck, I was able to use those artifacts to have an extremely thin mana base. Between the artifact ramp and Dark Ritual being legal in Limit Breaker, Golbez becomes extremely good at his job.
